Welcome to our app, the easiest way to connect with local cleaners! Our app is designed to make your life easier by connecting you with professional and reliable cleaners in your area. Whether you need a one-time deep clean or regular housekeeping services, our app has got you covered.

Here's how it works: simply download our app and submit a job request. You can also do this directly from our website: www.smallhomebiglove.com. When submitting your job request, You'll be able to choose the date and time that works best for you, and you'll receive confirmation of your booking when a cleaner has claimed your job. Once your are confirmed, we will send you a invoice and you'll be able to pay for your cleaner's services and you'll receive a receipt for your records.

You can also directly book services through the app or our website and pay for services and get higher booking priority!

How It Works: 

Small Home, Big Love offers affordable hourly cleaning, organization, and healthy home living services for homes in the Salt Lake County area. We are currently growing our team to offer services in Weber/Davis County and Utah County as well. Small Home, Big Love acts like a "Uber" transportation service, accept instead of requesting a driver, you are requesting a cleaner, home organizer, or service professional! Once you book your home service, we match you with one of our professional team members who can assist! 

All of our services are based by the hour. We offer basic cleans, deep cleans, home organization, AirBnb or Short-Term Rental cleaning, and other specialized cleaning and home services. Please review each of our services when booking to make sure you select the service that will best meet your needs. 

Travel Fee: 

We work to match clients with a cleaner in the area, however, sometimes there are not cleaners in the area at the time of your booking. Cleaners can still take the job in your area. A $25 travel fee must be paid for cleaners to travel for services. Travel is optional. You may opt out of the service and choose to book when a cleaner is available in your area. 

Payment: 

Payment is made upon making your booking. In the event that we need to cancel, we will provide a full refund.  Booking MUST be paid in full automatically after completion of clean. We offer payment via venmo, paypal, and a invoice system which takes credit card payments. 

We offer referral discounts and discounts for booking multiple cleanings. We appreciate you choosing Small Home, Big Love as your home cleaning and organization assistant! 

Accessing Your Home: 

For residential cleaning, if a homeowner is not available, it is best that you do not schedule your job request. While our workers have undergone training, have had background checks, and we diligently work to hire responsible and passionate cleaners, we want to make sure that jobs are satisfactory and homes are taken care of safely. 

We request that if you have pets you safely secure them as we cannot be responsible for escapes. 

In the event that you cannot be on site for your job, you will need to provide details for accessing your job area. You will also need to ensure all details are provided in your job request so the worker can do the job assigned. 

Supplies: 

Small Home, Big Love uses safe cleaning supplies to clean your home, however, if you have your own products we are also able to accomodate that as well. Large items such a vaccuum, mop, lawn mower, etc are generally provided by the client. If you need certain supplies brought, please list them in job description. 

Reviews and Referrals: 

We are human and cleaning and organization is a personal service. We recognize mistakes may be made. We value feedback on our cleaners and services and request you share within 24 hours of the service being completed. We also offer perks for referrals to our services, as well as the opportunity to tip our cleaners for their work. 

We do not provide refunds, but we can return and clean in any area that may have not been done to your satisfaction provided you report same day of clean and you have documentation of your complaints. Please take photos and provide details and management will work with you in the event of a unsatisfactory service. 

Tips: 

While tips are not required, we encourage tips for our cleaners as a way to say thanks! We try our best to make our service experiences great not just for our clients, but our professional cleaners as well! 

Cancellation: 

We understand that cancellation may be necessary on occassion. Small Home, Big Love requires a 12 hour prior to your service cancellation. If your cancellation request is outside of the 12-hour window, we will still charge 1/2 payment for the service. This is out of respect of our cleaners time as they have family and lives as well.  

Damage, loss, or stolen items: 

Accidents may happen, although very rarely. In the case of such, please notify Small Home, Big Love within 24 hours of service. We can insure that all things are taken care of in a timely manner. 

What is Included in a Basic Clean? 

Regular House Cleaning Tasks

All areas of the house

  • Dust surfaces
  • Dust and hand wipe furniture tops
  • Vacuum carpets
  • Vacuum and damp mop floors
  • Vacuum or Dust Furniture
  • Dust and clean mirrors
  • Empty all trash
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces

Bathrooms

  • Clean and disinfect bathtub, shower, and sink. 
  • Clean floors
  • Empty trash

Kitchen

  • Dust surfaces
  • Clean and disinfect counter tops
  • Clean and disinfect sink
  • Clean and disinfect microwave inside and out
  • Clean, disinfect, and shine outside of oven and top of range
  • Clean, disinfect, and shine outside of dishwasher
  • Clean, disinfect, and shine outside of refrigerator
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen table
  • Vacuum and damp mop floors
  • Empty trash 

Bedrooms

  • Dust surfaces
  • Vacuum carpets
  • Vacuum and damp mop floors (if non-carpet)
  • Change sheets (upon request)
  • Make beds (upon request)
  • Empty trash

We cannot move furniture, but we will try to reach any visible places either by hand or with an extension duster. Cleaners are not allowed to step higher than a 2 step stepstool.

We do not provide laundry services unless specifically requested. 

Cleaning is by CONFIRMED appointment only. If we are unable to gain access to the home or are turned away at the time of cleaning, there is a $50 service fee.

What is Included in a Deep Clean? 

Everything included in the regular cleaning plus:

  • Damp wipe baseboards and window sills
  • Damp wipe door panels and frames
  • Vacuum upholstered furniture
  • Remove cobwebs
  • Damp wipe kitchen and bathroom cabinets.                  

What other services to you provide? 
Small Home, Big Love offers AirBnb cleanings, home organization services, office cleaning, and event services. We also offer specialized home organization services and home styling. 

What are the prices for each service? Please review prices found on our booking page for the most updated pricing on each service we offer. 

How many hours should I book? 
Suggested hours for a one bedroom and one bathroom home is 2 hours. For larger homes of 3 bedrooms or more, 4+ hours is generally needed. It is advised to book more hours than less as we can adjust the price for more hours not used versus request a worker to extend their stay. 

How many workers are sent? 
Small Home, Big Love sends one worker per job. All workers are experienced, have a background check, and only accept jobs they are confident they can complete.
