This beautiful accent table is hand carved from a single piece of tweneboa wood by artisans in Ghana, then stained with a deep black finish. Tweneboa wood is used extensively for crafting drums. The Ashanti hold native trees in sacred regard, and traditionally entreat a tree's spirit before felling. This unique design bridges tradition to modern home decor.
